I had been reviewing this service while it was being promoted by Tipster Street but in late April 2019 things changed after a poor run of results and the service decided to go it alone. As indicated the service has been around since 2017 and the results over the long term have been good so I suggested to Dave that we would be happy to review the service as it is now constituted which was set up and Barry Gill agreed to look at things from day to day.
However, a week or so later we received the selections for the past 3 days after the event so I contacted Dave to say that we need the advice prior to the race to enable us to review properly.
This generated a response complaining that review sites were not treating him properly – he suggested that subscription offers were being made that were unauthorised – and unless we could show what the potential benefit to LMR might be he was not really interested. Naturally I responded advising that we only ever advise the published subscription rates and are interested in showing members a performance over at least 3 months and hopefully more if justified. The advantage of being able to point to independently proofed results was also mentioned! I asked him to continue the selection advices so we could continue the review.
But there has been no response and so we are unable to continue the review which I have no option to regards as failed. If an author is deliberately avoiding his service being reviewed we would be unable to verify performance and would not recommend such a service.
time to put the record straight on all this, i work very hard at what i do putting in many hours to provide a First Class service. We had various organizations wanting our services and one very well known professional sampled our bets.
Lmr Racing went through very lengthy proofing with various organizations over some 20 months some claiming they wished to work with us, one such company took our service for a few months and then despite our excellent returns turned their back on us claiming they wished to concentrate on Golf.
We have had companies make silly offers and 3rd party arrangements whereby customers were allowed to claim refunds even when we made good profit, others found ways to withdraw our income and these factors combined are not workable or sustainable.
This is one of the reasons that i decided to go alone and use our own facility and why a decision was made not to ever again work with other companies or review sites.
it was a Big step for us and one we have not regretted and i am delighted to say that most of our members have remained with us throughout the year so we must be doing something right.
I trust this clarifies and that we were not deliberately avoiding being reviewed as has been suggested.
If you have taken a “decision not to work with …review sites” then I am not sure how that can be viewed as anything other than avoiding being reviewed.
None of the performance claims have any independent verification and indeed the service results are not even shown on the site.
