Review: This service is the younger brother of Football Bet Data (see review here) and comes with similarities in presentation style and the same attention to detail and customers needs. Chris who runs the service is keen to offer a high level of service to his subscribers and has developed the service since launch in 2014 when I first reviewed it and made these observations:
It is possible to get a feel for the basics of the site free but to make effective use of the options available a subscription is necessary. This allows access to the database which covers UK and Irish racing and has historic data back to 2002. The site is updated daily with results and odds information. Form aficionados will find this to be a great source of information.
A narrative description can hardly do justice to the scope of the service and I suggest that interested users take an hour out and just explore what can be done. Its pretty intuitive and of course the use you wish to make of the site will depend on your own racing interests and requirements. This could be as simple as a jockey/trainer combination history or taking into account multiple filters which you can select.
Your selection output is then analysed in a summary table offering profit data which is an effective way of checking the validity of your plans. If required you may download the output into Excel for further manipulation.
I thought that it might be useful to have an acquaintance who is much more of a racing form expert than me take a look at the service and his comment was that:
“the service is really easy to use and the geekier among us could spend hours reviewing data. But it won’t appeal to the quick fix league. I have previously looked for such a site but never found anything so good. For anyone with a system it should be possible to test to destruction in a few hours or add the filters that might just make it work!”
Talking of systems this will be the next development stage when it will be possible to save searches and thus find your selections readily on each day. This will take the value of the whole site up to even higher levels and they are pretty good already.
Well since then things have moved on positively and there is now a daily update advice along with direct links for horse history from any output and it is possible to see the odds changes in play when compared to SP. The site has been favourably compared to Adrian Massey’s old offering and I have to say I find this one much more user friendly with the ability to download your data and experiment further a real bonus.
If after exploring what is available – which can be done for free – you want to take advantage of the full power of the service the subscriptions are tiny and offer great value for money. I have no hesitation in recommending the service to members.

Was asked by Chris to leave a review in my own time so here are my thoughts
I have tried several “data sources” in the past to try and aid and assist with horse racing system creation and testing and have never really got anywhere. Some of these sites were charging upward of £50 a month and offering very little (if any) after sales service.
Racing-Bet-Data not only offers me a wealth of data and info that I can manipulate and arrange to suit my needs, but the aftersales level has far exceeded my expectations. I’ve paid £40 for a year’s membership and its probably the best £40 i’ve ever spent.

Ace support – what a great product for the price
An excellent resource for downloading historical data when trying out new systems. A wealth of information. Easy to use. Sometimes you have to cut down the search criteria as the resulting download information is massive. Best of all it can be converted into excel spread sheets and from that ere data can easily be manipulated for search and filter as well as producing pivot charts. At £8.99 per month is a resorce well worth having
Fantastic value for money product. It’s all the data you could wish for, straight into Excel. For the price my expectations where minimal, but I’ve been blown away with the content, features and service received.
The level of service received and the way Chris and the team listened to my (probably quite annoying) questions and requests was great. Would expect that from a premium service let alone one that is just a few quid a month.
Haven’t fully gotten into the data yet, but the site content and outputs I’ve used so far do exactly what I want. Value for money at triple the price, a great find.
